Hurricane Florence Wedding
When we got word that Hurricane Florence was heading to the Carolina coast, we were thrown into a frenzy of preparation for Lucy + Nick’s sweet day. September was a wild month for us (much like the rest of the year!) and this wedding ended up being such a beauty despite the fear of torrential rains and flooding. We joined them in praying for mild weather, safe travels for everyone, and exceeding joy – and we got it all. It barely rained more than a drizzle at it’s heaviest moments, and we even ended the night wildly dancing outside on the patio! Such cherished memories, for all of us. Also, the sweetest first look (with both groom and dad) that I’ve ever witnessed.
